Diploma in International Caregiving (Healthcare Assistant) equips learners with the essential knowledge, skills and practical experience to provide compassionate, competent care in diverse healthcare settings. This programme emphasises both theoretical foundations and hands‑on training, preparing graduates to meet the growing needs of ageing populations and individuals requiring specialised support.

  7. Advance Care Planning & End-of-Life Issues
  8. Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
  9. Exercise and Nutritional Interventions for Older Adults
  10. Practical Skills in Caregiving

General Attendance Criteria

Course Assessment & Examination

Course Duration: 6 months (288 hours), part-time

Local Students: At least 75% attendance

International Students: At least 90% attendance 

Late arrivals/ Early departures: Students who are more than 15 minutes late or leave more than 15 minutes before the class ends, without a valid reason, may be marked as absent for that day

Theory Examination: 

  • Written Assessment
  • Oral Questioning 

Practical Examination:

  • Simulation

Note: The application fees (S$120.00) must be paid in full before beginning the application process for both local and international students.
